The Nahdlatul Ulama Executive Board (PBNU) determined 1 Shawwal 1441 to fall on Sunday (5/24). The decree was said by PBNU's general chairperson, KH Said Aqil Siroj, in his broadcast on Friday (5/22). "This year's Ramadhan is 30 days and 1 Shawwal falls on Sunday, May 24, 2020," said kiai Said.


That way, both NU and Muhammadiyah, there is no difference in determining Eid this year. Majelis Tarjih and Tajdid PP Muhammadiyah some time ago had already announced that Idul Fitri 1441 H fell on Sunday the day after tomorrow.
